Or maybe he's misguided. Truth is he's clueless. He could not plan a simple date even if his life depended on it. "What do you want to have?" — ladies, this is not an open ended question, this is single handedly the most important question ever. It allows him to understand what his partner, who has not eaten all day, would like to have.

Somehow there is no good ending with this. They end up at a place he thought she would like (she did not hate it, actually). They end up at a place he likes (this is lighter fluid for a future argument). Or worst of all, they end up going nowhere because the poor lad is fatigued from trying to find a place she will enjoy. There is a lot of uncertainty. Women love it when everything is planned out for them, they hate asking — makes life a lot easier for the men, but we can't change biology. What you need to understand is that she shouldn't be asking in the first place.

We dedicate ourselves to finding something you both will enjoy. We remove the decision, we remove the fatigue. We want you not to worry about how a plan failure is going to turn into an argument. Remember ladies, it's not their fault. They didn't have Griddle.
